The President's Piece

On behalf of the Committee I would like to congratulate the following Club members:

CLUB CAPTAIN - Luke Richards
It is with great pleasure that I announce Luke as the 2010 Club Captain.
Luke is an outstanding young man, who will represent the Club with pride and passion, bothon and off the field.

STATE REPRESENTATIVE - Matthew Leaver
Very few people get to participate in the State Schooolboys Carnival, and it is a sign of Matt's talent and dedication that he representing WA as an umpire for the second year, at the Carnival. 
The Carnival is being held in WA this year, from 24 - 31 July.

Ocean Ridge JFC is lucky to have two such outstanding young men as part of their 17s Sharks.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Please remember that just as the players represent Ocean Ridge each time they pull on a jumper, so do the Coaches, Managers, Runners, Goal Umpires, Boundary Umpires and Waterboys at each match. 

There have been some incidents over the last few weeks, both on-and-off the field, where ORJFC members have behaved in a manner unacceptable to Junior Football. 

I would ask that everyone, both players and supporters, download a copy of the Club's CodeS of Conduct, and remind themselves of the behaviour expected at Junior Football games.
